Beginner - Formerly level 1 and 1-2. A safe and practical foundation for learning the entire scope of Iyengar Yoga including standing poses, inversions and other fundamental poses. It is recommended that students spend 1-2 years at this level.

Intermediate – Formerly level 2. Students will develop a deeper understanding of the foundational postures as well as strengthen their practice of inversions. Unsupported backbends will also be taught. Students should expect to spend at least 2 years at this level.

Advancing - Formerly levels 2-3 and up. A more subtle and refined knowledge of the asanas is apparent with a regular practice of backbends and inversions. Students at this level should be developing a consistent self-directed practice.

All Levels - All levels of students are welcome. Modifications will be given when necessary.

Noon Hour- A one hour class open to all levels of students.

Gentle - a slower paced, gentle class for those working with chronic conditions and injuries. Props are used to restore energy, flexibility and muscular balance. This class is also well suited to those that are over 70 years or not used to physical exercise.

Kids Yoga - 6 - 10 years. This is a fun, interactive class to help kids develop strength, flexibility, coordination, concentration, confidence and relaxation.

Pranayama- the study of yogic breath. Students will learn the expansion, regulation and restraint of the breath. Some restorative asanas may be included. This class is suitable for those who have a minimum of 6 months Iyengar Yoga practice.

Meditation - Introduction to Buddhist Meditation, support and inspiration for those already practising. Drop-ins welcome. $2 for use of studio. For more information call Laurie 250-764-1022.
