We are offering a combination of in studio (max. 7 students) and online classes. Sign up for each class is through MindBody online only. At this time, unfortunately, we cannot accept drop-ins in the studio.

Rotating Teachers

Please be aware of our cancellation policy:

  • For studio classes we need at least 3 hours advance notice for not being able to attend the class you reserved. 
  • For online classes the cancellation window is set to 30 minutes.
  • You can easily cancel a class your self from your Mindbody account (under the My Info - My Schedule tab). If you have dificulties with cancelling your reservation please email: info@kelownayogahouse.org and the teacher you were scheduled with (info can be found on the teachers page).

Livestream Access Helpful Hints:

  • Set up your props: mat, 2 blocks, strap, blankets, bolster and chair (or household items such as towels, hard cover books, pant belt or scarf, pillows, a dining chair) and practice space and have your device nearby- [phone, computer, laptop or TV].
  • Set up your device so that it captures your entire body. Your Device must be at least waist high and 10ft/3m away. If your screen is small, however, you won’t be able to see the teacher. Therefore, prioritize between the teacher seeing you (place device farther) and you seeing the teacher (place device closer). It is most important that you can see the teacher.
    If you prefer being unseen, you may turn your camera off. Note that if the teacher can’t see you, she can't assist or guide you. Please carefully protect your own safety. 
  • Sign-up for the class at least 45 minutes prior to the class start time via MindBody. Please make sure that your email is subscribed so that you receive an email confirmation with the URL and Meeting ID for the Zoom class. Also, please ensure that your Zoom name is the same as your registration name in MindBody.
  • Sign up cutoff time is 30 minutes prior to class start time. The cancellation window is also 30 minutes before class. If you cancel outside of the cancellation window, you may get charged as a no show.
  • Please make sure that you have the Zoom App installed on your device and that you are logged into the App (with your first and last name). We work with authenticated user only, so that means that only registered users can log into the class. 
  • Go to the zoom app on your device 10 minutes before the class begins. 
    Then click on the join button and enter the Meeting ID and check if your full name is listed in the second field (this name needs to be the same as the name you used for registration in MindBody). Then click on Join and enter the passcode in the next screen, click on Join Meeting and it will take you to the waiting room.
  • Please adjust your mat so that it is visible in your video screen if possible. 
  • Please mute your audio (microphone) when you enter the class. 
  • Enjoy your online session! 
  • At class start time the room will be locked, so please be on time. Latecomers will not be granted access to the class.
  • If you encounter problems signing in, email the teacher directly. Her email is in the class confirmation email.

  • These classes will be simplified with fewer props used or household items in replace of props.
