If you are a total beginner to yoga and have no experience at all, then this class is for you. Learn the basics of Iyengar Yoga from square one in this six-week program. In each week’s hour-long class you will be safely guided through a progressive sequence of the foundational asanas (poses) of Iyengar yoga.
At the end of the session, you’re ready to confidently join any beginner or all levels class.
We’ll review items used to assist learning in the first class including: a chair; a belt, strap or tie; two wood blocks or a couple books; 2-3 blankets; and a space with access to a wall. If these are readily available for you, please have them nearby your practice space.
