We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you, our beloved community! After years of nurturing wellness in Kelowna, we’re taking a meaningful step forward. We’re relocating to a new space nearby and evolving our name from Kelowna Yoga House to Kelowna Yoga Hub. This change reflects our deepening commitment to fostering connection, growth and holistic well-being. Rest assured, our core mission and values remain unchanged: creating a supportive environment where everyone can thrive in body, mind and spirit. We will continue to be a non-profit organization invested in the well-being of our community.
Our new location is just a short distance away, making it easy for you to continue your practice with us without disruption. This move isn’t about starting over – it’s about expanding our horizons. We are excited to create a fresh, inviting environment designed specifically with you in mind. Our new location includes larger studios for more immersive classes/events/workshops, dedicated areas for community gatherings and enhanced amenities to support your wellness journey. We’re staying true to our roots in Kelowna while stepping into a space that allows us to grow together and make our wellness offerings accessible to all.
The shift from “House” to “Hub” is more than a name change. It’s a celebration of what we’ve always been: a central gathering place for yogis, wellness seekers and community – a place where people feel a sense of purpose and belonging. As Kelowna Yoga Hub, we’re emphasizing our role as a dynamic centre where community comes first. This rebrand honours our history while opening doors to innovative experiences that unite and nurture us all. Whether you’re a longtime member or new to our family, you’ll find the same warmth, inclusivity and passion that defines us.
At the heart of everything we do is our unwavering dedication to holistic wellness. Our mission to inspire and empower individuals through a diverse array of body movement modalities, breath-work, sound healing, dance, singing and mindful practices, remains the guiding light. We continue to uphold our core values of compassion, authenticity, accessibility and sustainability. No matter the address or name, we’re committed to providing high-quality instruction, diverse classes and a safe space for personal transformation. Your trust and participation have shaped us and we’re grateful to carry that forward into this new chapter.
With our new space, we’re amplifying what we love most: building connections and nourishing every aspect of well-being. Expect a continued diverse schedule with advanced workshops, community events, meditation circles and specialized programs that integrate yoga with nutrition, mindfulness and spiritual exploration. We’re designing these offerings collaboratively, drawing from your feedback to create experiences that foster deeper bonds and holistic growth. From time-honoured Iyengar classes to invigorating vinyasa flows to hatha and restorative sessions, Kelowna Yoga Hub will be your go-to destination for rejuvenation and unity.

Q: Where is the new location?
A: We are joining the vibrant Landmark District neighbourhood on the corner of Harvey and Kirschner
Q: When exactly are we moving?
A: We expect to move sometime in March, but given we are in the midst of studio renovations, we don’t know the exact date yet. This information will be shared with you as soon as we know.
Q: Will KYH still function as a non-profit organization?
A: Yes, our non-profit status remains the same. Kelowna Yoga House was started with the vision of its founder, Margaret Lunam, who donated the funds to build our first home and we will continue to honour her legacy by remaining a non-profit organization as we grow into our new space and into the future.
Q: What’s the set-up of the new space
A: We will have 2 large studios, 3 change areas, 3 washrooms, storage cubbies for belongings, a kitchen, a community area for chatting and tea, a lending library section, merchandise and prop sales areas and a front desk meet and greet. The studio is being built as an enhanced version of what we have currently
Q: Will there be change rooms?
A: You bet we will! There will be 3 dedicated change areas in addition to the washrooms noted above
Q: Will there be props in each studio?
A: Yes, we’ve got you covered! Kelowna Yoga Hub will continue to supply props and mats to our clientele free of charge.
Q: What are the sizes of the new studios?
A: They are larger than what we currently have. The small studio can accommodate about 15 mats and the larger studio can accommodate about 30 mats.
Q: Will the studios have their own lighting and heating?
A: Yes, they will have individual studio lighting so that the ambiance of the space can be customized to the class, but the temperature of the entire studio space will be the same in all areas and kept at a comfortable temperature to practice in. Not too hot, not too cold…just right!
Q: Will you still be hosting events and workshops?
A: Absolutely! We will continue to host a diverse array of workshops and events that nourish body mind and spirit.
Stay tuned of more on our special events and guest facilitators.
Q: Will there be parking? A. The parking situation will be an improvement to what we currently have.
A: There will be a number of studio dedicated parking spaces and lots of access to free parking around our building!
