A Workshop for Scoliosis and General Back Care
In this yoga workshop we will explore poses to create symmetry in the body, steadiness in the mind and freedom in the breath.
Pranayama or basic breath practice will be included to quiet the nervous system. When working with scoliosis we learn ways to be sensitive to the asymmetries in the body and work with them intelligently and compassionately. Please note that this workshop is not suitable for individuals with severe back conditions. Please contact Melissa if you have questions about your suitability for this workshop.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellation up to March 12, 11am will result in credit of the workshop fee, minus a cancellation fee ($10), to the student’s MindBody account. No refund or credit if the student cancels less than 2 days prior to the event.
